I wanted to send you this note to let you know that I just finished reading your book.  Needless to say I was enthralled with your story and have a new level of respect and admiration for you and your husband.  Aside from your impressive accomplishments, how blessed you are to have such a supportive and understanding husband.  As a Latino husband from a traditional family, with an accomplished wife, I understand the challenges, courage and confidence needed to be a successful couple.

I bought and read your book, Leading Between Two Worlds. I want you to know that it inspired me. I am a citizen of the United States, so it had not crossed my mind the challenges an immigrant family has to go through when making decisions. It especially impacted me when your mom had to make a choice, who goes and who stays.

There are many things that touched me about your background, however, I know exactly what it is like to have a special child and also the emotional impact when there is a loss. You see, My son Gabriel was born with cerebral palsey. My family endured similar challenges and hardships. Evemtually, Gabriel left us to another world. I find satisfaction that he left us as the perfect child.

I appreciate your advice of the top seven. They are something worth living by. I respect you for having the moral courage to do what is the right thing to do.

Thank you for your inspiration and words of wisdom. I truly believe you are a wonderful and great person.
I believe that when you chose to write this book, you answered His calling.
